As temperatures rise, our dogs are at serious risk of heat stroke, a life-threatening emergency that can develop in minutes. ![]()

🚨 Watch for these warning signs:![]()
- Excessive panting![]()
- Drooling more than usual![]()
- Bright red or pale gums![]()
- Weakness or lethargy![]()
- Vomiting or diarrhea![]()
- Disorientation or stumbling![]()
- Collapse or seizures![]()

Prevention Tips:![]()
✅ Always provide fresh water![]()
✅ Walk dogs during cooler morning or evening hours/skip walking them over the next few days!![]()
✅ Ensure access to shade and ventilation![]()
✅ Never leave a dog in a parked car—even for a few minutes![]()
✅ Avoid strenuous exercise in hot weather![]()

🆘 If you suspect heat stroke:![]()
Move your dog to a cool, shaded area.![]()
Offer small amounts of cool (not ice-cold) water.![]()
Use cool, wet towels on the neck, chest, and paws.![]()

This is a front-of-house role where you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. You’ll be booking appointments, answering phones, handling payments and helping keep the practice running smoothly.![]()
